     I've been DJing for about 15 years at this point. I approach It as a music lover, audiophile, and also as a musican and artist; from the viewpoint of an experienced turntablist with the skills and expertise of an accomplished Producer and Engineer. This allows me to think outside of the box and incorporate a wonderful balance of all of the necessary aspects of DJing from the technical to creative. Extensive Music knowledge and Beatmatching ARE Important. Understanding pitch and tempo IS important. Sound Effects, Scratching and Filtering are great tools as well and a great DJ knows when and how to implement them. I personally enjoy a good night out and have always loved respected great DJs; when I decided to become a DJ I pledged to myself that I would maintain or exceed the bar set by the greatest DJs of our generation.
